I called my public library and asked about a program like this, and got the best response I could have. I was outlined a books-by-mail program that was offered in my county for handicapped citizens. I applied, was accepted, and began receiving every book I ever desired to read in my mail box. Unfortunately, the program ended about a year later on. But it opened my eyes to other possibilities that may be out there for the taking.

Autographing is truly about listening. Everyone who concerned the conference had a story to tell and I listened to lots of stories. Some stories were so heartbreaking I couldn't develop comforting words, besides "I'm so sorry." Still, I encouraged people to inform their stories and that is crucial. I also autographed books in memory of their departed children.
